Financial regulations govern the conduct of the financial
transactions of Poulton with Fearnhead Parish Council.
Standing orders are the written rules of a local council. They are used to confirm a council’s internal organisational, administrative and procurement procedures and procedural matters for meetings. They are not the same as the policies of a council but they may refer to them.
This Code of Conduct has been adopted under Section 27 of the Localism Act 2011 and is based on the following core principles of public life – selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership. It sets out general obligations about the standards of conduct expected of members and co-opted members of the authority, together with provisions about registering and declaring interests.
